Where to dispose of appliances

Florida

Brevard County, FLLarge appliances (white goods) go to the Central Disposal Facility or Sarno Landfill.
Orange County, FLMost appliances can go out for curbside large-item collection; refrigerators/freezers can't — call the county.
Hillsborough County, FLAppliances go to any Hillsborough Community Collection Center within the 10 cu yd/yr free allowance.
Miami-Dade County, FLAppliances (white goods) go to most of Miami-Dade's Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers, daily 7–5:30.
Duval County (Jacksonville), FLAppliances go to the HHW Facility on Commonwealth Ave or Trail Ridge Landfill ($20 each).

Cobb County, GAAppliances, including refrigerators, go to the Cobb County Transfer Station.

Mecklenburg County, NCAppliances go to a Mecklenburg Full-Service Recycling Center.
Wake County, NCLarge appliances go to a Wake County Multi-Material Recycling Facility.

Maricopa County, AZAppliances go to a Maricopa County transfer station for $8 each.
