• Brevard County, FLIntact fluorescent tubes and CFLs go to a Brevard HHW collection center (10 per household per year).
• Orange County, FLFluorescent bulbs go to the Orange County Landfill or Porter Transfer Station hazardous waste drop-off.
• Hillsborough County, FLFluorescent tubes and CFLs go to a Hillsborough HHW Saturday collection (limit 10 four-foot+ bulbs).
• Duval County (Jacksonville), FLFluorescent tubes and CFLs go to Jacksonville's HHW Facility, Tue–Sat 8–5.

Texas

• Harris County, TXFluorescent tubes and CFLs go to the Harris County HHW Facility.
• Dallas County, TXFluorescent tubes go to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center.
• Tarrant County, TXLight bulbs (limit 20) go to Fort Worth's Environmental Collection Center.
• Bexar County, TXFluorescent lights and ballasts go to San Antonio's HHW Drop-Off Center.

California

• Los Angeles County, CAFluorescent bulbs go to any LA S.A.F.E. Center.
• Riverside County, CAFluorescent tubes and bulbs go free to a Riverside County permanent HHW facility.

North Carolina

• Wake County, NCCFLs and fluorescent tubes (limit 12) go to a Wake County HHW facility.
• Guilford County, NCFluorescent bulbs go free to the Guilford County HHW Center.
